Hello,

Really sorry but I can't seem to set my avatar image. I've tried and tried but when I select it, it will not let me click on 'ok' to accept it.

The file is in my folder named, jww13835.jpg

Can anyone give me some pointers as to where I'm going wrong please? Again, sorry if I'm being stupid but I just can't make it work to save my life atm. doh!

Cheers,

Johnny

What browser are you using? I find Chrome works better for images than IE.

I'm having that problem as well, I'm using Chrome clicked on the upload after resizing the pic that I wanted to use but as above I can't select it.

what i did for now was, upload your image at

http://postimage.org/

then when it is uploaded click on the 'direct link' button so you have the url of your image copied into the clipboard

then at this forum use the direct link url for your avatar instead of trying to upload the image onto the ukvac server

I've done it for you now. The file was in your folder, right click, copy file location, paste in to avatar image file. The forum software adds an extra http:// delete that and it will show.
Edit: Upload the file via your File Manager.

I thought this was just me.

Definitely seems to be an issue despite trying a range of browsers.

I'll give the option above later

I have been trying to change mine for ages, cant remember how I done it originally

i found a way of doing it if you have the file uploaded to the forum, click on the file you want to use from the avatar upload window and the picture should appear in the preview window,
if you drag the image from the preview window into the avatar address box in the settings menu it puts the link to your avatar into the box

that's how i done it anyway

Hey! It worked. No hiding my next cab purchase now!

Thanks for the fix.

Yeah the button to ok from the avatar selection window just doesn't work at all. Tried in Firefox, Chrome and IE.
