I'm UK based and I am looking for some sort of arcade cabinet kit that will support CRT monitors so I can build a groovy MAME machine. I want to be able to play all types of arcade games on it but fighting games are the priority so the monitor needs to be horizontal and the monitor needs to be in a mostly up right position not lying down like on a pacman cabinet also there must be enough room for the traditional 6 button layout. Also I don't want to just buy an already existing old arcade cabinet and convert it to MAME as that will remove a cabinet from the supply that someone could properly restore to play its original game and enjoy in all its glory. If you also have DIY plans for a cabinet like I have described I would also be interested in seeing that.
