HID Joysticks

Hi

Does anyone know how I can manually change the IDs of HID joystick devices

Player 2 seems to e stuck on player 1 and player one seems to be stuck on player 2

basically I need to change the IDs

Joy ID one is controlling player 2
Joy ID two is controlling player 1

unfortunately no I cant swap the USBs or plug one in after the other, they are hard soldered to the header connector

I need to do it within windows device manager

There is a piece of software that can do this, I needed it a couple of years back, sadly I forget the name of it though

cant get anywhere with the link

really pulling my hair out

I tried disabling each controller one by one and it worked for 5 mins and then went back to the original setup

gave it a go last night and no it wouldn't work

even swapping them over the ID still stayed the same

I just ended up maping everything back to front

P2Joy controls player 1 and P1Joy Controls player 2
