I have just noticed that my posts appear as hits on Google, I'm not sure I like that.
Is that deliberate ?. What are other peoples thoughts ?.

Hi Cliff, yes it's deliberate and opinion was canvassed a long while back before any changes were made. Below is a complete list of the Forums that are open for read/only access (which Google and other search bots use).

It's far from everything, only the stuff we thought wouldn't cause a problem. All the OT Forums are member only as well as a good many others if there's anything you want to say that you don't want the greater world at large reading you can do it in one of those.

If you want to keep something private it's probably best not to post it anywhere on the internet...

That's why the OT section is private - it may seem slightly odd at first that the OT section would be private, but if you think about it, were you to, in the heat of the moment add an OT post ranting about your employer, you wouldn't want your employer to be able to see it would you?
Whilst I'm not that keen on the google visibility, I concede that it's not too big a deal if it's arcade related stuff.guddler2011-10-03 14:30:05

OK, my next question is...
I know it is my own fault for having my real name as a username, but, do any of you as admins have a one click easy option for changing my username automatically on all my previous posts ?. If you do, please PM me and I'll give you some new details.
