I played these when I went to Japan and they are all sorts of awesome!

I doubt we'll ever see them over here.

I'm not one for rhythm games, but this blows you away!

Really jealous I haven't got the electronics skillz to do one of these. The buttons would be easy for me...

Little bit off topic but I am off to Japan/Tokyo in a few
months with the Mrs for a few weeks, we’re staying in the Chiyoda district just
wondering if you could point me in the direction of some decent arcades or even
a few retro game shops.

I already have a good few consoles but I have put off
getting a famicom as for years I have wanted to buy one in Japan and bring it
back with me.

Any links ect would be cool,

Goto Akihabara on the Japan rail and you'll find G Front, May and Taito Hey! (arcade shops) Also look out for all the super potato console shops (you can't miss them)

You'll probably have to ask the maids for directions to the arcade shops.

Also - goto the 'Decks' complex at Odaiba for the best kept arcade you will ever see!

Remember to look UP as well as DOWN at the buildings. They have many floored buildings AND basements.

Search for Japan arcades on AO too. They probably remember a lot more than I do about where to go.
