Ok so I have my 25" Silverline Cab coming soon.

SteveBM1 has sold me a replacement monitor for it. (Thanks Again)

Have just bought a Neo Geo MVS Motherboard and a Double Dragon Game.

The cab is set for 2 players with 3 buttons each is that enough for this game and others in the MVS type games?

Also is there anything else needed to be done to the cab to get it setup with the Motherboard or is it just plug and play?

for neo geo you need a 4 button set-up unless your happy with just 3 buttons

I have this for sale if your thinking about purchasing another control panel

its a 6 button per player so if you ever added a 6 button game you'd be set up for it

Is that not a awkward layout to play?

Also is that the same size? Alpha has my cab listed as a 25" Silverline JAMMA cab and you have your CP as a 26", so are they the same?

Some of the neogeo panel layouts were pretty awkward, so that one shouldn't be any different

You'd just need to wire the 4th buttons to pin 25 on either side of the JAMMA connector, and if the MVS board has a stereo/mono switch, make sure it's set to mono.

The MVS board is the one sold on here alone with Double Dragon.

As I've said on here before I know hee haw about how these things work, I just know how to kinda play them.

I take it the cab you're getting is JAMMA wired? If, so you will need an adapter to plug in the MVS board if it's a multi slot one. If it's a single slot board, no adapter is needed.

Might have to have a rethink about this, Just had a phone call forgot that my insurance was up on my Scooters. So that's me down my £190! that I hadn't budgeted for

So may just go for the the cheaper option just now and put a forth button in the CP I have and wire it up. Then when I'm back in the black see if there's any six button CP's going.

Sorry Jengineer.

Ok My cab is due next week, and I'm just going to drill the CP and add 1 new button.
Is it straight forward to wire up another button to the Jamma loom or should I get a 6 button loom?

Thing is should I get a set of new buttons and replace the lot of them?

Would the cab look daft with Illuminated buttons on it?
