I AM A GORFIAN EMPIRE! Or not. Gorf, the janky but awesome love child of Space Invaders, Galaxian, and a broken Speak & Spell machine has stumbled onto your earwaves.

Another great podcast gents!

Well done again on your run Shaun and you will have to show me some Krav Maga

Also, if you are still after a Pi Zero, I think I have one doing nothing. It's the normal version though, not the wifi version and it doesn't have the header on it, so if you need that it would have to be soldered on. I can post it out to you if it's any good?

If there are any arcade bits you are giving away Vic, how about a competition on the podcast? I might buy that Pocket Gal 2 off you if you still have it though. It was one of the games at my local arcade when I was a kid.

Looking forward to putting some time in on Joust. I've played it on enough platforms so should be good at it, hopefully.

Cheers,

Rob.

I have to say Shaun, you sound very happy mate!

I'm looking forward to seeing if I can retire at 55 to hopefully then work for myself until the official retirement age. My job isn't too bad but I'd rather work to put money in my pocket rather than putting money into the pocket of a faceless organisation!

Another top podcast, Guys! Keep 'em coming! And good work on the podcasts Shaun. They're shaping up nicely.

For the record, though, the pronunciation of that Scottish city-name is:

GLEZGA!

The first vowel is an /e/ - as in 'Ten' and 'Pence.

The second vowel is an /a/ - as in 'Arcade' and 'Podcast'

GLEZGA!!!!!!

This month's game brings back a lot of memories. I first encoutered Joust in the foyer of a motorway service station 40-odd years ago.

If I close my eyes and concentrate really hard, I can still smell the cigarette smoke. COUGH!

Seriously, though, there are some brilliant aspects to Joust. The concept, the cabinet art, the less-is-more style graphics. Coming back to it again, however, there's something about it that joust isn't clicking. I reckon there's too much inertia for my liking.

Here's my score: 118,250
