I am placing an order in the usa.

Hi, I will be placing an order with Technotronic dimensions in the usa this week for a part.

Does anyone else. Red to order anything from there to help split the postage costs?

Just be aware you are more than likely to incur additional import VAT and duty once the stuff arrives in the UK too.

Not many sellers arcade sellers in the US are keen on marking down the value of parcels, especially if paid for by paypal in my experience.

Yes I know, the part I need is $80 and postage is another $45, I asked about pricing the parcel lower an he never answered the question. Guess he won't.

The best option if possible, is ship it to someone (a friend) in the US. US to US postage is pretty cheap.

Then get it shipped from your friend in the US to you marked down and sent as a gift.

I've had to do this a number of times, not to bypass import charges, but because sellers in the states won't ship to the UK because of postage costs

Thanks for the advice. Postage in the usa is free on the part I want but with the delivery and the stupid import charges it makes it so expensive.
Are there many sites in Europe that sell lopts?
Most are in the states for non run of the mill types?
