I cant help but think a pm to the mods on the forum would have avoided all this.

See this I find a problem, like the recent issue with a certain lack of delivery for a member recently, it's all well and good to put positive feedback but apparently only mods should hear about bad things...

I can't help but think sending the stuff out and relying to messages would have sorted it all out a hell of a lot quicker...

Right, let leave it there folks, most folk have said their piece and I don't want anything to possibly jeopardise the completion of the transaction so I'm putting the thread on hold till further notice

Hi everyone,

This got quite heated yesterday so I thought I would just post up to say that whilst we will all have different opinions on this, let's all be above board and beyond all else respectful of each other.

I can see Stu has obviously fallen on hard times and hopefully bombjac and John Bud can help him out, but we must also realise we have buyer here also that's not received his goods - so he's upset about it also.

I like to think UKVAC is a friendly place and the fact people have offered to help Stu and help Hannes shows I am right about this

Let's hope both parties get this situation resolved.

Providing positive future posts will be posted after careful consideration I will get this thread unlocked later today, no one wants a locked thread unless it can be helped

Ok this thread has been opened again, please be civil whilst expressing your views.

Let's help Hannes and Stu get this resolved (which I think is happening through the Scottish contingent anyhow).

Thanks all

So guys, a little update.

Stuard contacted me to for my mobile nr as the deliverer needs it.

The parcel did not appear until today.

He sent me the following mail that (so he said) he has got from Interparcel:

From: Leanne Irish <customerservices@interparcel.com>
To: sturankin73@yahoo.co.uk
Sent: Thursday, 6 November 2014, 16:16
Subject: Interparcel Order 10661688 to Austria

Dear Stuart Rankin,

With regards to the above order. Ups have contacted us to advise that the receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made.

Kind regards,

Leanne Irish

I should have got a call (or what was my telephone-nr for?) or a confirmation that the parcel has arrived and I can pick it from the depot....so dont get whats wrong here now...

Also the order-nr is not a tracking-nr, so what shall I do with it.

A mail to Stuard resulted in the folling answer:

Nothing to do with me anymore I sent it and provided proof, if you dont receive it you'll have to take it up with courier

Not the the guy go a bad conscience in single way....he acts so impolite, I really tired of that guy, he got no will to solve that all and no realization that he made a mistake.....I see no intention bring that all to a good end.

it is the seller who has organised the courier and therefore the seller that has a contract with them to facilitate delivery, so if it not received then it is for the seller to sort out...

Hannes, try mailing customer service with the order number and ask for the UPS tracking number, that way you can call your local UPS depot.

Or, just call the UPS in Austria with your name and address and see if they can be of any help.

This guy is useless.....he probably thinks I have to be grateful that he does answers my mails now again anyways....

Lesoleil and Silverfox:

Thanks guys, I already dropped them a line.

What makes me so angry is that the guy acts like he did nothing wrong...almost 3 months after the auction.....do you guys think I ever did hear a sorry? No chance.....

Draw a line under it dude, when you get your parcel.

Some people don't know how to say thanks, or sorry, or whatever. You can't expect everyone to act in the same way that you might act yourself, although I'm glad to say that most people do!

Experiences like this teach you who to deal with and who not to deal with in future

After I informed Stuard that I did´nt get the goods yet he sent me two mails within some minutes...with out my response in between them.

1. seriously, nothing to do with me so go f**k yourself

2. get one thing f**king straight, if I was a rip of merchant I wouldnt even be wasting my time emailing you f**ktard. So the email was weird was it? Interparcel does accept it? Tough sh*t matey cause it was order through Interparcel and delivered by UPS

If you cant be at the address given by youy to accept delivery that is your tough sh*t. Out of my hands there mate. Parcel was collected from me days ago now, and as far as I am concerned job done.Got a problem? Think you're being conned? f**k off then

I stop talking to this guy anylonger but please, nobody should tell me "Stu is ok".

Thanks guys for trying to help though.

Man alive what a sorry state of affairs. The seller's behaviour is indefensible.

You need to try and get hold of the tracking number. If the seller isn't helping, try calling Interparcel for the info by quoting the order number.

But if I was a betting man, based on the history of this, I'd say the item hasn't been sent at all.

Good luck.

Its odd if he has not given you a tracking number (which would put him in the clear rather than ranting), which would leave me to concur with aeroflott that it probably was never sent.
