But does anyone know where you can buy these machines.

I saw a video tearing into this cafe and these machines a while back because they arent originals and dont have CRTs in them, but they look like a great alternative for those who dont want to have to fix a machine every 6 months when they break

I only had one chance to see one up close. It was brand new and masive backlight bleed. To be honest, the worst tft/lcd monitor I have ever seen. Maybe some other are better.

i mean, you can replace monitors in these a lot easier than CRTs

anyway, didnt want arcade snobbery, just wondering if anyone knows where they are from

As far as I know the monitors have an LVDS interface only. Not so easy to replace if original game CPU board is in place. With another lcd and an raspberry pi, great maitenance free machines.
(I know I'm off topic here, sorry :) )

The screens are way stretched IMO. Didn't play on them though to be fair. I have a 4:3 in my MAME cab and it doesn't look great on that though, Its good enough for me. I love my MAME cab. Want to get some proper ones once I am back on my feet and have room !!

I don't get it, get four Jamma Cabs with serviced Hantarex Monitors which don't go wrong often, 2 with H and V screens for Mame, 2 for H and V Jamma pcbs if you want to play genuine boards, if mame didn't exist it would make a bit more sense but how many of us played favourites like Double Dragon or Street Fighter in original cabs, hardly any because most were Jamma cabs
