I'm just making space so I can finish work on a couple of the cabs, which will then be sold on.

The Astro Blaster is already sold to U72, the Pacman will be next, then maybe the Taito Space Invaders.

It will be tough but sometimes you have to let go.

I need to make some space by selling some stuff, so that I can move my repair bench to a permanent location. Somewhere where my kids can't mess with it all, and where it can all be left out so I can pick it up whenever I get the itch.Equites2014-04-19 21:47:45

It's the only way to go. My ratty old school desk (£10, eBay) takes up the space of 2 cabs. But invaluable when I'm working on something. Half the hassle is having to set up and then break down your gear.

i used to do all my soldering on the dining room table in bad light with crappy equipment, hated it, and i never seemed to have enough time to do a job before i had to clear it out the way. Now i have a dedicated room with everything set out and it doesn't matter if stuff is left for days, much better and i can see why you need to get a similar setup, and clear out all that stuff. Must spend half your life looking for what you need!
