Does anyone know if it's possible to get a new grommet compatible with the 22-2830, or close enough to be adapted?
Ideally I'd like to buy a new grommet that's stiffer than the original. I'm specifically interested in very high tension and fast return-to-centre/rebound. I'm happy to experiment with something considerably stiffer than stock, even if most people would consider it excessive.
If there isn't an off-the-shelf replacement, is it feasible to have this type of grommet reproduced in a harder rubber compound? I still have the original, so I can provide accurate dimensions and photos.
I'm not looking to modify or damage the original grommet. I want to keep it intact and experiment with replacements.
