...updated. It now fixes the big bug with using the forum and opening up Safari and is hopefully more stable with a host of small improvements. It also introduces some new features;
1) Navigation buttons are gone. You should now use swipe gestures to go back and forward between pages for all the tabs.
2) Action buttons are also now gone. Actions are now achieved using a 'double tap'. These are the actions for each tab;
New Posts - Refresh new posts
Forums - Go Home to Forums List
Search - Begin a new search
PM's - Write a new PM
You Tube - Go back to UKVAC You Tube home page
ukvac - Go back to ukvac.com home page
Logoff (new) - Logoff forum completely and clear all logon data
However there is a caveat - it no longer supports iOS4.x or iOS5.x. Apple are really pushing Developers to drop support for earlier releases by making it so difficult to develop and test. Even though we had an old iPad with iOS5 we still could not test with it. We've tried keeping iOS5 support in the app and it's gone onto the app store with iOS4.3 as the base version however upon testing it on our test iPad from the App Store we've found that it breaks it. Long story short - if you have the ukvac app running on 1.0 on an iOS4/5 device DO NOT UPDATE IT. We will issue a new minor update soon with iOS6 as the base version so the update will not appear for iOS4/5 users.
For iOS6 and iOS7 it's fine to take the update, it's been tested to the max on both version and works perfectly.
