issues with techno parrot

just playing with tecnoparot
and i cannot load most games from either loader or front end as i get same message

cannot find win32 loader please unpack tecknoparot again

which i did same message...
then i unpacked it to a stand alone drive
same message

win 32 loader
and win 64 loader both update but then my computer says the update is a trojan horse virus?
anyone else experienced this or similar with any pointers?
i can load ford racing...
s rally 3

that’s it... v tennis 4 has resolutions issues
tekken has gone from 4 faults to just 2 errors now but won’t load still...
no other games load for me..

Best to go to emuline for help as they have tutorials etc

The problem is your AV software, add an exclusion to the TP folder and re-extract the files.

They are false positives because of how TP works to load the games.

thanks z i thought as much but didn’t like to risk it
as i have been locked out blue screens spamm locked up and total
meltdown and phishing scammed
for £3000 from my bank!! so i get a bit gittery when i see the old trojan warnings...
will unpack and redo it...

You need to readf up on the TP Wiki, there's a fix for SR3

just re installing tp again same error cant find openparrot 32

ford racing is pants ,, but when you cant get anything to load it is awsome!!!

reminds me of mrc on n64 if you ever played that..

i had mari kart /initital d going on tp and then they both started same issue..

so i have reinstalled once &

doing it again,,,, so now installing again will allow all warnings to pass from windows defender so

hopefully..

yeh i will get into each game specific to load once i have it up & running without av shiz getting in the way!!!!

type x loader with street fighter 4 ok

sf 4 arcade 2012 just hangs at initilizing screen

arcane 3 hangs white screen

giga wing gen looks pants in little screen in middle of widescreen led

whilst still managing to put desktop into portrait in the back ground ? go figure?

homoru hangs black screen

arcana hart 3 could get going

gundam zeon no ttx config option in the file

on a positive note . been enjoying sf4 arcade , working fine looks/ plays great..

would like to sf v if anyone has a file share as cant seem to get mega.nz sh*t to work either

First of all install this, https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/

Mario Kark requires a couple of DLLs stuck in C drive as well.

Some games can be fussy about dir postion and name length, so try to keep as C:TPGamesSbike etc

There are also a lot of bad roms out there with un needed files or patched/hacked exes too, finding clean ones can be a pain at times.

hey just reinstalled & i added exceptions in win security virus protection exceptions to block av form the folder contining all things teknoparot

and still same error cannot find winopener 32 i will sort it some how

the file you just pointed me to maybe is the answer..

will get there...

Easy fix. I just downloaded the latest Teknoparrot, and drag and dropped OpenParrotLoader.exe from the archive into the OpenParrotWin32 directory. Should start right up.

because

Windows defender is deleting it. You have to add TeknoParrot to your Defender Exclusion list.

WinOpener is nothing to do with TP, it looks to be for viewing zipped files, looks like you have other software at issue, try insalling winzip/rar and see if that helps.

downloaded latest tp from emu line
allowed it in windows security..
then went back to my old tp with is on a external drive
dropped contents of latest openwin32 into
openwin32 folder on the tp on external drive
loaded tp from emulator directory on external drive and works great!
only tried MKart but works great!

any ideas on force feedback do i drop ffb files strieght in mK directory game files?
