Hi all,

Yes in all my years of wheeling and dealing (since 1993) I have finally been done over.
smiley32.gif

Soooo...

While I gather the wood to build a cross to nail this POS to. I'm doing a court claim and filing a case with the police.

What I'm posting this for is... I'm after any info on the following:

This is his site

1.www.magicmoneywales.co.uk is a site operated by Magic Money Wales Limited (“We”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 08685229 and have our registered office at:

Magic Money Wales,
Holmliegh,
Pendine,
SA334TW.

Our main trading address is:

Magic Money Wales,
Holmliegh,
Pendine,
SA334TW

The info I'm REALY after is. Is there a Magic Money Shop as the google street view maybe out of date.

I have all the company info and directors names. I have the home address as he sold a 4x4 on eBay and going from the picture background I found the home address.

Any info would be much appreciated.

We'r talking £416 done over.

Company directors:

Scott Graeme Barclay <-- this is the guy I'm gunning for!

I plan on airing it all out here.

Not only as a bit of self punishment for being stoopid but mostly to help anyone else thinking of paying out for something to a random stranger.

I was scammed on Gumtree (surprise surprise) by someone selling some Jamma PCB's. Although I had some of his info, I didnt have enough to track him and take actions. Lesson learnt

I got scammed on a red phone box.
Paid the guy £500 direct to his bank account and he sai it would be delivered the following week.
It beer turned up and the phone went dead.
Files a claim with the police and they said it wasn't fraud or theft as he could deliver it at some point. Load of rubbish. This went on for 6 months, they had addreses, bank account, eBay account by still they couldn't do anything.

Hope you have more luck than me.

Guess what.... I wonder if they seen this... I have the money back!! No word of a lie

13:38 a txt message from "Magic Money Fukker" "All done, sorry for the dely." with a picture of the receipt and checked my bank a BOOM as if by magic, there it is!

I'm a happy and wiser man!

As Promised

This is what I bought...

I sincerely feel for anyone who's bee done over with bank transfer it's a horrible feeling specially explaining to family and friends.

Thing is before I sent the money I called Halifax to see if I was covered if I sent the payment from the mobile banking app. The lady said yes of course! if you don't receive delivery just give us a call and we can start a dispute. She said you'll have to fill out some forms and provide paper work but yes get in touch if there is a problem.

Then of course when Money Fu**er phones went straight to answer phone and emails where getting bounced I called the bank and guess what! I'm not covered and the call recordings conveniently cannot be found. All I'm left with there in FCA ombudsman.

Glad you got your cash back but why was it 416? Did you buy something else too? Also shame the text wasn't at 13.37 as that would have been leet

Thanks for the support!

It's just funny how I post this and ....

It was £416 because of £150 delivery.

Yeah I found out shortly after paying that the same mashine was listed by anson123uk Here

He never responded to by messages on eBay either. Then I found the picture was lifted from the German auction which is still currently running. one has the logo cropped off the pic.

Then I found the thread on here...

Maybe they bit off more than they could chew trying to sell a machine is large and buried there heads in the sand abit. How knows?!?!?!? They have now made good on the deal. I'm happy. Onward and forward..

On a side note. I have found out Small claims court is only £35 and can be done online in less than an hour. Claims can be made through the courts six years after the deal.

Bailiff fees are reasonable loads of company's out there who have no lift no fee!

This was a serious option for next week.

Really pleased you got your money back, I actually placed a bid on that auction as well iirc, that could have happened to anyone, would have been gutted to have lost £416, I lost £80 on a cab last year via ebay & that is annoying enough.

So what was the actual issue?

Was it that they didn't deliver the machine or was it the machine itself not as described?

Non delivery and non communication is the reason.

Lots of communication up until I deposited the money into the account.

weeks following mobile number ringing out to voice mail then going straight to voice mail. then the numbers on the site being disconnected.

Emails getting bounced back with permanent failure (mailbox full)

I could only get in contact with his wife (the eBay account). Who, well may have sorted it out of her own pocket (impression I get) as he's apparently been in Devon opening another shop and she doesn't have much to do with him.

Just screamed of scam because of the fast reply's before money and the extremely sporadic contact after.
