hi all..
Well i got bored last night and today and had just got a box of
stuff from my lockup that i hadn't seen inside for a good 10 years,
and i found a master system 2... plugged it in, it still worked, so
then i thought it'd be great to be able to play this in a real arcade
machine, i was a big master system fan growing up...

So thats what i did, removed the unneccesary bits, added some other
bits, and 24 hours later i have a completely Jamma compatible master
system, video, sound, controls are all at the right levels for a
standard jamma cabinet, the master system itself needs no controllers
to be plugged in, nor any external power supply, its just like having
another arcade pcb on your shelf, except you can plug one of 400
cartridges into it to play
There is a volume pot for the amp, and a toggle switch for 50/60hz
mode tucked away on the side, this is probably the single best thing
you can do to your master system, games play at the proper speeds and
are a totally different experience!
Anyhow, i might make a few more (different consoles next time), and
sling them on ebay, it was a fun little project! any requests for
them? i'm thinking megadrive/snes next, but i do still have more
master systems heh.
