Good article dude! I've yet to work on one of these boards so it's interesting to see what kind of stuff they actually kept on-board and what wasn't offloaded to ancillary circuits, like how Atari progressively moved their power reg from the game PCB to the ARn.

I missed that when I was working on my Turkey Shoot RAM MODs and subsequently, I had to swap back all the RAM to get the game up and running......
Hopefully Dave will put a link on his site, it would make a great addition!

Yeah I did send it to him an ask him to include it - even if he wanted to rewrite it as roby-2084.co.uk has ALL the wms stuff and a logical place for it 
... Either that, or if Dave hasnt time ot maintain it we mirror/absorb it into the ukvac developments

Actually, I have 2 Turkey Shoots, one is 95% working and almost fully restored and the other is 100% complete - parts wise but not working correctly. I purchased the 2 in non-working condition and through repairs / restoration and swapping, got the one game good to go.
Regarding the "working" game, I say 95% because the one item I cannot for the life of me figure out is the signage in the play-field above the buildings, it's corrupted. It looks almost Chinese.
There are no errors during a test, all the original ROMs check. I even went as far as to burn a complete new set of ROMs in the event that I had missed something but have the same issue with the new replacement ROMs.
I had made several posts and sent numerous e-mails to fellow TS owners and no one can assist me in my quest to conquer this enigma.
Hopefully one day, someone who has had the same problem will magically materialize and make it all better but before then, I'm just happy to be able to play!
