Jvs motherboard dvi cable question

Hi guys. So i got a taito x2 and a sega ringedge and want to connect them to my gaming monitor. I know i need a dvi to hdmi cable, but there are different dvi cables so i dont know which one i need? Is it dvi d ?

Also what about sound? Will i need external speakers

I suspect you can only get DVI D to HDMI as the D means digital
and you will need speakers too, Arcades dont have monitors with built in speakers, if your monitor has speakers, you may have an audio input, just run a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable from the X2 to your monitor
