Please keep us posted if you go ahead reverse engineering the Konami-1. I have a few boards that need them and would be happy to build and test any designs you come up with.

Had it been my own board, I wouldn't have replaced the sockets either. But this one must be sent using Danish Postal Service to an arcade gamer with no or very few technical skills, so that's why.
