Oi Oi. That's my first ever actual arcade machine I'll have you know and I have fond recollections of playing it when I had students as friends . So, that means I still own my first ever game, first ever bike (moped) and my second ever car. Hoard-tastic.

Nice collection dude, and a smashing example of arcade collecting pack-rattery :) Bet there's some beauties tucked away inside those antistatic bags.

I particularly like the T-Shirt with my website's logo on the sleeve - immortalised forever. Well, until it fades in the wash anyway

They are recent pics. I didn't have the star riders, gyruss, or sega rally five years ago though, the road runner was a marble madness, mad planets was in pieces and the DOT hadn't been turned to face the wall in shame for its legendary unreliability.

F*ck off fish man! At least my stuff works and can be played :)

That game had been converted to a 1942 when I got it and I had to buy a boardset from the US, and a broken Star Wars cab just to get a Wells Gardner and I think it was my first attempt at copmpletely rewiring a cab as the loom had gone... and it all works. That was something like 1995/6 when I was supposed to be studying for my second year at uni. Anyhow, I do have a new CPO and untested spinner, 1 NOS spinner knob and two second hand black buttons. I've had them since Arch came to your meet at the Bates motel, I just can't be arsed to fit them as I need to weld up the big holes in the panel first....

Also you must have heard of my old JAMMA star wars conversion?

Do i see a Space Harrier converted to Enduro Racer?

Yep. I have two (I don't think you can see the other one in the photo as it front's facing the door), although that one's essentially a shell with reasonable sideart.

A second Star Rider....

Well, after much fiddling around (controller optos, power supply conversion, burn
free moniotor + new flyback, laser player optics clean up + laser power
supply recap, numerous expander/VGG board swap outs the Star Rider
upright now exists in it's own right. (hurrah)

Well it did for 2.5 hours anyway, before the laser player became a
little finicky about doing frame searches (gotta love laser players)

Anyway, here are some pics and vids for posterity

Again I forgot you had a 720 holy grail for me even though I was never any good at it.

You just cannot play this in mame as you need that uber cool rotary joystick to be able to spin seven times in order to get a good score and get more park tickets.

Wow would love that.

I didn't know that like me you belong to the Atari APB club, another fav game of mine so under rated.

Awesome collection sir, just awesome!

Edit:-

P.S Start rider is sooo cool also, that has to be the most unreliable game in this hobby doesn't it?

Along side Star Wars and EDOT?
