Yesterday we went for a trip to get some machines who had been left in place about 18 months ago .....
The owner was really friendly and helpful waiting all this time..... <-lol->
We were really busy between commitments, other things to do, a lot of laziness and lack of desire to do more than 900km trip we always put off until yesterday.
We had already been there so we knew well what was waiting for us and what else we could have taken this time.
Moral of the story we left at 3 am to go back to 6pm, after spending about 4 hours and a half to looking for good stock of spare parts or details of other things that could serve us....
Let's start with the pictures....

We start with:
DaytonaDX_zps0849d7f9.jpg

This is our third .......
But we took it because it really seemed like out of the factory, and it was definitely the best of the three we have.....
Probably one of the three deluxe will be sacrified and cannibalized for reasons of space ....: |
As for the other two are still undecided whether to put the monitor Hantarex 40 "4: 3, or a 16:9 lcd and change the game in Sega Racing Classic .....
We will see the feasibility later ....

Here is a cab that I've never even seen in picture, if not from the flyer:

TaitoGunbuster2_zpscdc4fd58.jpg

TaitoGunbuster3_zps5a929655.jpg

Wonderful machine and really a good game.......
In very very good state, with the protective plastic still on it.
Of course, it's original Japanese machine .... <-wub->

Then a piece of gaming history .....
SpaceHarrierClone1_zps19a855b1.jpg

SpaceHarrierClone2_zps88dd3d2e.jpg

Too bad the cab is a bootleg with a pcb of enduro racer bootleg .... :(
I believe in fact that the cab is original in itself, but that it was "customized" for the bootleg market.......

Finally took a cab just to make up the numbers, a game really bad .... (rad rally)
RadMobile_zps68ebeed4.jpg

The only thing I like about this machine is the fact that is Japanese and is in excellent condition ....
For the rest of the game sucked even when it came out on the Saturn .....

Here instead is an overview of some very beautiful machines that we did not take, because modified and no more originals....

GuidaGenerico1_zpsb662af18.jpg

GuidaGenerico2_zpsdd5b4aa1.jpg

GuidaGenerico3_zpsd027c4ff.jpg

Both very beautiful .... shame that had been modified ....

Ok let's load all in the van....

That's all for now....
I think long time will pass before we go again in a roadtrip....
Too much machines to take care of now.....and the space is nearly over.....

Some interesting finds there! That Gunbuster cab is really weird, I've definitely never seen that before...4 players with a gun AND a stick each? Looks like something you'd see on a crap mame cab

The Space Harrier bootleg cab is certainly interesting too. I expect Jodo would like a good look at that!

That Gunbuster is really wonderful, trust me....

I've never seen that one neither in pictures....

Yes have a gun and a joystick for each player.

I tried it on mame and it's really strange....but of course on a cab with proper hardware it's a lot better and fun....

My original intention regarding the space harrier was to convert back to space harrier, but i don't know if this will be feasible and easy to do....

But for sure i don't want to trash it...

I have a lot of machines to trash before this one...

Notice the Space Harrier

When they are bootleg, they never have makers name hence no SEGA logo anywhere, same as my Bootleg Hang-On and Outrun Steering wheel and centre badge I had, again no SEGA logo

great to see such machines, Gun Buster looks great

And that ESOTRIL? has to be a game from TATSUMI, the cab is built just same as Buggy Boy, same handles on back, trim on top of back door, control panel artwork is same style/type printing and T-Moulding

Yes this machine don't have any sega logo and inside there's nothing from Sega...

Me too have a Sega outrun wheel with no logo applied....

Yes Gunbuster is wonderful...

So for you that little racing machine is a game from Tatsumi?

I was told on an Italian forum that that machine should be from a manufacturer called Montanari....

Anyway was really a beauty...

See the Same T-Moulding, Same handles on back, same white strip where back door is, if it's not Tatsumi the Cabinet is made by the same place that made Buggy Boy, don't know who made the cabinet for it though

Control panel artwork looks same style

Looking at the side art, those cars are on like a track, like a scalextric style track with slots and yellow barriers. would love to know what it was and the game, nice looking machine

Yes they seems really "similar".....
They could be come out from the same factory....
What about the space harrier?
I'm nearly 100% sure that the cab is the same as the original....

i would  buy that  gunbuster!!!!
Thanks but of course it's not for sale....
Even if we nearly collect only Sega cabs, i love this Taito...
This could be one of the few (if there are) gunbuster cab remain....and i'm a proud owner of this one...
:)

I already have the Harrier Mini with seat, the Upright and the Dlx motion cabs but would dearly love such a curious item as that bootleg Harrier. If you ever come to part with it then please let me know as I would love it for my collection. In case you hadn't realised Space Harrier is my grail
