Wondering if anyone has any info/history on these cabinets?

I am currently on the lookout for a first cabinet and aside from racers etc. most of what pops up around me are these. Not only that but any multigame arcade cabinet I stumble across in a pub or a snooker hall these days seems to be one of these cabinets too.

My (very) vague memories of arcades are of Electrocoins but I can't ever remember seeing these Leisure 2000s.

Am I just confused or were these not as common back in the day and, if they weren't as common back in the day, where have they all come from?

I think they were kits put together by a local distributor. Back then they'd order the cabs and internal parts, get their own artwork made up for them and site them/sell them. Like your Winfall, Keeday, AMR cabs and the like. They would have been local to a distributors area so you would never have seen them. But with the power of the internet, now you do!

Generic jamma cabinet, good choice for a first cabinet. They're all pretty much the same just comes down to personal preference and which you like the look of, Silverlines and Goliaths are also popular.

Funnily enough one of the arcades i went to as a kid in Paignton was called Leisure 2000. It's actually still there with the same name.

Couldn't reccomend a trip to it these days though....
