i got these from a fellow collector in the states today!!
im still awaiting the pcb to arrive ,despite buying this like months before,however these

arrived today so its more ticks off the list

a big thx to a certain member for doing the purchases and then re-shipping to me!!

also i got a few extras from the same place too while i was at it

Atari created something call a Quad Pokey - it's a small chip that sits in that socket. It's basically 4 pokey chips. If one fails it ruins the entire chip. So Atari created the Eliminator board that allowed 4 single normal pokeys to be used.

thanks! - so basicly it uses 4 pokey chips for the sounds,and if one breaks down it dont destroys the whole shabang, but only the one chip?

Yes - check the picture - you can see the 4 pokeys - you just replace the one that failed and all is well in the world again.
