I dont think those are LS-30s, likely they are Loop 24 which use an opto control for rotary instead of the mechanical switches in the LS-30.

SNK Cal 50 loop 24 rotary joysticks

Will probably end up taking these apart to check springs, lube and general checkup similar to when I rebuild my SNK LS-30 joysticks. Got lucky with an eBay buy it now auction. Been looking for a long time for these to play on my Cal 50 pcb ( the only game these joysticks were made for).

Yeah you're missing the 4 pin opto board:

I saw one of these used on the player 2 side of a Victory Road back in the day and it didn't work properly.
