Manchester Play Expo - October

I've been that busy with real world life stuff it looks like another event I'm going to have to miss... Family comes first obviously. People that are friends on fb will know why. Have a great time guys should still be at the vac arcade meet up though.

Won't a load of the cabs be at play expo though or are all those ones going belonging to James?
All Arcade Clubs cabs are our own apart from a few loaned from other people (less than 10)
James has his own very healthy stock of cabs for events - for instance he is supplying 120ish to play this year
we also have a healthy working relationship with James - for instance we have loaned out some moving cabs like Afterburner and power drift to him - and they will be at Play Expo to be enjoyed and he in turn loans us some machines - so don't worry enjoy the games! just to clear that up...

went up last year with my son thought it was a great day picked up a few boards i got from big phil had a couple of bits for brettster ,son 16 played his first pins ever so he was happy played on a few cabs had his picture taken with megaman
then he came across deathsmiles on the 360 and was lost for most of the afternoon
this year have no time supposed to be going to steves meet and think thats going to be missed as well .

i saw shaun on saturday but slung him a dingy
i saw a lot of folk but decided to just have a mellow day i will be seeing cosine soon as i have some stuffs for lola

i thought it was a great show but seemed less busy than previous years ??? that only made cabs more accessible which is a bonus for players
i did throw alex a jedi message but it didn't hit the target

as per the norm i only played a few credits. the mostest cab played ??? space invaders

Had a great time at play again this year hi to James and Shaun again was nice to have a quick chat with you both as well as mypinballs. thanks for the supreme effort to fill the place with cabs.
I agree not as many traders but its probably expensive to get a pitch, more smaller independents would be good and more computer games rather than expensive carts for consoles
Only thing I wasn't keen on was the food... pretty yucky tbh.
Will probably go again but might seek out the smaller meets where I can chat to collectors, looking forward to arcade club coming up soon!
