Here's my gem. This game was so much part of my youth. Sooooo many good times playing this machine is my local chippy. The choice was chippy food or Space Invaders. SI won every time. I had a funny convo with my dad some months ago where he asked me where was I all the time at Butlins as I was never with my family. Told him in the arcades playing this. He's 78 and i'm 56 so why ask now I thought ;-)

Work Completed on this being...
Replaced T mouldings with the same leather look type.
New Bezel.
New control panel.
Replaced 'leaf' switches.
Speaker grill and coin door powder coated.
Old 10p coin mech installed and working.
All fitting cleaned and polished up so now nice and shinny.
Replaced the 2 back doors.
Inside all original. ( I do have a new PSU ready but I'm reluctant to fit it as I like the word 'original')
Multi game kit fitted on top of 8080 CPU.
Outside artwork cleaned and touched up. (still has the wear and tear of life which I love) this makes it look more 'real' in my mind.
Replaced and connected up an 'earth' to the mains cable !!! original was just 'L' and 'N'
Front bezel bulbs replaced and all working.
New coin door Midway sticker.
** one negative point is that I have a space invaders being hit no sound issue but some one has kindly offered to fix it.**
To everyone and the companies that have supplied me with replacement parts and shared your help I say 'THANKYOU' you have a made my game be re-born. There is some great people here with so much knowledge it's amazing.
