Monitor Question

Hi All,
On my JAMMA Hanterax monitor (MTC 900 or is 9000)
It initially starts up OK then after a while (as it warms up I guess)
everything starts to get a little shimery (and thats nothing to do with my
drinking habits) and then gets worse and worse until the whole screen is
unreadable.
Is this something simple like a cap kit? or signs of big troubles to come.
