[ukvac] monitors Help
Hi gang

I have an atari super sprint with a duff monitor(atari System 2).I have had no luck locating a medium res monitor.Does anyone know if it's possible to use a 19" computer monitor with RGB inputs as I am running out of ideas.Or even better if anyone has one of the medium res monitors for sale or trade I would Be over the moon.

Where have all the medium res monitors gone ?

Thanks Chris Jackson (The Arcade Warehouse)

[ukvac] Re: monitors Help
funnily enough talking to an operator friend of mine the other night, we got
onto the subject of med. res monitors...

If you go into any typical arcade nowadays you will see plenty of games
using med res monitors. In fact several games are coming out in the two
flavours, one in medium, the other in low res for JAMMA. Prime examples are
Bloody Roar 2, War Gods etc...

If you need a medium res monitor let me know, i'll see if my mate can get
one, it is likely, however, they wont be cheap because they'll be brand
new..

Alternatively, sell me the Super Sprint and i'll whack the monitor in from
my champ. sprint, or try and get a discounted 'sly' medium res monitor off
my friend.

Another option would be to get the monitor repaired, that'll be cheaper, as
long as the tube hasn't gone then you should be ok..

seeya!
