My place and this are top floor of the building, very thick 90+% steelbar in the nearly 300mm of concrete between me and the downstairs neighbour plus floor covering and double skin block wall to adjoining neighbour.

Met the neighbours adjoining through the grey wall, very nice couple, explained what I do, invited them to the parties, got on good foot with them straight away. They even sent some very nice BBQ chicken over.

We had a pin up and running this eve and no prob with noise level.

Red poo wall now white, graffiti wall nearly covered, orange wall nearly covered - 10ltr emulsion gone!!

Next up is the hallway lights, changing them to low-energy warm LEDs.

The main room carpet needs replacing, its 24ft x 24ft, getting quotes of nearly £500 - this seems very high.
