Time to pull this one out of deep hibernation and get it into the house...

So I pull it out of storage after about 13 years.

A quick test in the corridors of the storage facility shows the game no longer works.

So I get it home in 2024.. and proceed to stick it in my neighbours garage and forget about it.

Roll on last Sunday. I get my sack truck and decide I'm going to sort out the game.

So the game doesn't work.

I thought better to get it working then strip to clean it than just immediately strip it.

A reseat of the JAMMA connector and adjustment of the switcher and I get life.

Result.

The biggest issue is all the metal work is flaking.

So now it's working I decide to strip it and have it ready by the weekend for a party.

That gives me 5 days!

I deep clean the inside of the game and tidy up cables.

I strip the metal work, then prime and paint.

Game cleaned inside.

I install new ballast and fluro tube.

Then put the game all back together..

All ready for the Saturday.

Resto complete.

I'd never seen those games till the emulators, love them also just a shame all the cabs of these are so big for uprights, If I didn't have so many sitdown machines I could have fitted in a lot more uprights but the mix of different types is nice

Nice fix up and quickly rolled out onto your arcade floor Ol !
I made a promise to myself not to be moving midway cabinets around after 50, few years off so the clock is ticking !
Unfortunately some of my favourites, so will need a forever space for them.
Have a few - Nba jam, jam tournament,
Mk4.
Mk2 a fave in the series also 🙂 what a game changer that was when it was ported to home console.
