Most iconic arcade music?

I mean, it's Toccata and Fugue in D minor on a handful of AY-3-8910 chips. Classic!

I also dig the theme of Robotron 2084, it's short but pretty iconic.

Bubble Bubble is definatley number one for me.

Another sound that comes to mind is the attract sounds from Pole Position

The scream from the attract mode of Altered Beast as he changes does it for me.

As for what makes me think of being in an arcade would be 'Place your bets now please' from the old Derby horse racing games or whatever it was.

I would say Sega definitely had the best music in their games.

SF2, Daytona and also TMNT I'm afraid.

Older stuff Outrun, Bubble Bobble and the Pac-man start theme!

Daytona, hands down. Every arcade I went to as a 12/13 year old had that blaring out over every other game.

I still love it today. Even bought the soundtrack for the car

The 'Place your bets now please' is a good shout.

For me it's the Hang-On attract mode and the Neo-Geo start up jingle.
