I've been trying to sort out an MTC 9000 and I'm a bit stuck - not having
played a lot with raster monitors!

I seem to have a decent sized image, but there's sh*te all over the screen, but
the image is there, controls such as sync and size all work.

Since a few of the caps had a high ESR I changed the lot but no change .. pic

I've had a quick look at TR18 and it's pulsing, not shorted which I half
expected/ It feels to me like it's the blanking circuit, but mainly 'cos I
don't know where else to look!

Any hints of where to look next?

Thanks!

Steve
