What's your thoughts on MVS boots?
Are they a cheap way to get the same game or a waste of cash?
I'm saying this as I'm interested in how they are made and look and fancy getting a few more.
I just saw a Striker 1945 sell for £48 plus postage
I've got a few puzzle boots and a pop n bounce and they work fine AFAIK with play test.
I only payed £10 each which I'm happy with.
What boots do you have and any problems?

with the multi carts avaliable, you're better spending your money on one of those

I have boots of Ironclad as it's not on a multi cart and Ghostlop (this is available on the 138 in 1).

These work perfectly

I previously owned boots of many carts, most worked perfectly but a few wouldn't boot and others had graphical/audio issues.

My preferance would be original carts or multi carts if you're on a budget

I don't have a problem with them, they are all part if the rich tapestry of arcade history.

I agree, but how much would you pay for one knowing its a boot?
I fancy getting a few but not sure on price compared to real ones.

A general rule I go by is that a bootleg should cost no more than half the price of an original. Not really too sure about MVS carts in this respect but I would say 50% of normal asking price would be a good rule.
