Cool little arcade you've got there dude. Well played

Reminds me of a little place I visited somewhere with my folks on the Norfolk Broads in 1985. They had almost all of that stuff except an Outrun (obviously) and the test bench.

It was converted when I bought it. I missed out on a Midnight Run shell on ebay a while back. I was hoping to convert the Outrun back to an Outrun, and put the Midnight run back in its original cabinet but I believe someone bought it for a Mame conversion

Just wondering why someone would want to convert OR to Midnight Run. Each to their own I guess!

Love the old jukebox btw, how many 7" inch singles have you got in there? Is it full to capacity now?

That's looking great. A lot of hard work must've gone into that - hope you're pleased with the results (you should be). That's what a garage should look like - a proper cave in which to dwell and indulge. 5 cabs nice easy fit, plus the table, plus a nice little bench to do some work. Heaven.

Yes it is full to capacity. I think the maximum it takes is between 75-100 7" singles, something like that.

I got the Midnight Run/Outrun cab pretty cheap, so I wasn't too fussed about its hybrid state. Hopefully at some point I can convert them both back to their original cabs, but that ones for the future.

Thanks James. Yup it took a lot of effort. I am pleased with it, but in this hobby you always want more space

I was conscious that I didn't want to overload the garage. I just wanted enough cabs to play around with, and still have space to move around, and I think I have achieved that, although I will have to shuffle around a bit when my Nintendo Vs system arrives. I'm also hoping to extend the repair test bench as I will need more space with that too

They other great thing is I can get broadband in there, via powerlines, even across the ring mains, so got a nice healthy 60 meg when I need to lookup a manual or transfer stuff over my network

Well done Ben looks very nice!

Those sound leisure jukes are bomb proof, I had a Starlite going back a few years.

Cool!
