I got a message from some one I've never met last night saying.
"Hi Nintendo arcade I've just googled Nintendo sheriff and your name pops up , did you ever find one ?"
I said " no I've been looking for a long time now and have only ever seen one in Germany "
And he said " I've got one, it's a cocktail and my dad brought it for me when I was 6 "
I said "really any pics ?"
At this point I am thinking its a wind up
But no,he sends me a bunch of pictures and sure enough it's a god dam sheriff.
And it turns out he lives in London so I am thinking great he must want to sell .
And at this point I am so excited
So I says " so how much did you want for it?"
And he says " oh no I am not selling, I've seen your restorations and I was wondering of you could help with this one "
For F*ck sake
I wait all this time and he doesn't want to sell but wants me to help with his .
Oh well at least he has promised me first refusal .
And I will help him get it fixed .
I just hope one day I will find one

love the brown and cream colour schemes on these cocktails, really fixes their point in time. Never saw this game in the wild though have fired it up in mame but a bit unplayable with standard controls.

So close yet so far Alex. Unfortunately there don't seem to be many around.
