Since selling off most of my cabinets, I kept a couple for myself to work on. I was going to wait until the Q25 is fully finished, but I can just update it later when I've finished the blue decals on the side body panels.

The Q25 is my attempt at a full restore. As you can see in this picture, it was a bit of a mess. Most of the metal parts were rusty, the body panels were filthy, and it looks very depressed when compared to the Neo25.

So after all the metal parts were blasted and powdered, the plastic panels getting a good clean, restoring the wood, it ended up like this. I'm just waiting on some decals for the body and designing a few myself and it'll be fully completed. (Just need a monitor bezel for it if anyone knows where I can find one)

Next up, this beast... (This was partially dismantled when I took this picture)

Yeah. I'm in the process of downgrading it back to standard OutRun, which a lovely chap from here did for me :) I've also got my hands on a SmartPi as well for when Deluxe cabinets work with it.

Thank you! That's what I've decided now. OutRun is going to be a problem soon as it's very big and I quite like having those two together where they are now (but the layout of my place is not suitable for large arcade cabinets) so I'm trying to convince my partner to let me store OutRun at his place ;)

Very nice, love both those cabs and the overall look of the space.
Out of interest what and where did you get those posters from, don’t recognise them and they do look somewhat unusual and interesting.

They're from a anime/manga series called JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The game of it is running on the Q25 in that picture. The poster themselves are from the creators art exhibition in Nagasaki back in 2020. I was supposed to go to it but Covid killed that little holiday so I imported the posters instead.

Now this is where you guys will either cringe, think I'm mad, or just plain stupid.

I intend on it going into my home, but I live in a flat in an old Victorian high school on the top floor (thankfully its only two stories), and I don't have a great deal of room. Most of it is up here already, just the base and the body frame left to move but that won't be until they have been blasted and coated. Thankfully I have a small army of burly men to help me get it up there!

Hat's off to you for trying - did you get it all up there ?
Most of it is. The base and the frame are still in a garage waiting to be blasted and coated, along with the monitor holder. The frame and base won't be an issue, thankfully, but the monitor holder is as it is 1CM too big for my front door.
