Don't know if you know but Neo-geo.com has been hacked.
Not sure if hacker is targeting someone on the site or the community ?
Don't understand why attack a forum site?

DOSS attack or something else

the hacker has a facebook site, they should report him on facebook and hopefully the law can track him down, cyber crime is always delt with

Looks like the attackers found a way in as home page changed, and added a threat to admin not to restore!
Funny how they add a link to there Facebook page, can't see that getting hit with loads of abuse.

This happened last year as well not sure if it was the same guy. Only the home page has been defaced. The forums are still functioning just like last time. Go to www.neo-geo.com/forums and the forums come up fine.

Just remembering last year and a lot of the members there said their bookmarks go straight into the forums and not a lot of people go to the main page. So more likely than not they don't even know, or if they do it isn't a priority (or quite simply, they can't be bothered because it's only a deface and nothing serious).
