I saw the advert for this in the recent issue of Retro Gamer mag, to be honest when the original consoles can be picked up for less still, I don't really see the point in going in for these 3rd party nostalgia jobs. You can't beat the real thing :)

I agree, you can't beat the real thing.
Us guys will happily fill our lofts etc with crap... Although if a mate of mine wants to play a few games, i'd find it hard to demand he buys numerous consoles!
I was hoping someone had actually tried it, and could comment on the emulation.

I am not sure I get the point of these things too... apart from the fact I have them all still, you can get all the originals seperately for less money.

I also thought the emulation on these things was far from perfect... the sound was all over the place on some games and as far I know theae things don't output RGB natively just S-Video and Composite which seems a bit of a shame to me.

Tbh, they are well overpriced, no rgb, emulation only. Waste of time imo.

If you want to play original carts, get the original hardware. Much, much better and cheaper

If you want to play via emulation, get an xbox from beaps.
