My dad ran a TV business from home. I have put my hand right inside the back of a TV , trying to put aerial in, dad had left the case off. It was like magnetised between my hand and the circuit board, really had to pull hard to get it off. It burnt solder holes all over my hand and finger.

Your poor dad must have been feeling pretty bad too. Burns are awful things. I hope it healed well for you and didn’t cause to much pain.

I think I was about 13 and there was not much sympathy ! Same as when I fell down the stairs and put my fist through the front door window pain, at bottom of stairs. Modern parents would have been concerned. My dad was like "you will pay for that glass". I guess that is why we have safety. glass now ! I've managed to hit a screw driver on a live lighting but wow being thrown across the room is shitty , still alive though !!
