Hello people
If you have been following my projects you know I have a big passion of coming up with ideas and bringing them to life. Together, with your ideas and support we have brought to life dozens of arcade related projects – from small artworks to specialty side arts to an entire arcade cabinet. ( Mini Cute!)
This crazy idea was born after the mini cute project- which is to create another candy cab of similar size! This cabinet is even rarer to find! It’s also significantly more complicated to reproduce. I have shared a lot of my progress so far. More details will be shared on my Ko-Fi page and on my discord. I’ll be brief and to the point here!
I have approached the company whom owns the brand of the targeted cabinet – and they expressed interest but before moving forward with a licensing discussion they want to see a prototype unit. This is the reason I am now doing something I have never done before, which is ask the community to help fund the creation of this prototype unit! The details as to the expensive and exhaustive process to create this prototype will be documented and shared with you along the way. I am appealing to the arcade community at large – if you have a remote interest in seeing this project come to life please consider buying me a Ko-Fi!
You must be wondering why I the cabinet has not been “formally” identified here – and that is because in the discussion with my contacts in Japan -I received a suggestion that I must limit the use of there “brand/name or likeness” to raise any funds or generate any income – that could be ground for an outright refusal to license. So we will proceed with caution and not name the cabinet….use your imagination
