New arcade in Southend on Sea!

Awesome - and a Xenon and Gorgar in an Arcade!!! Never thought I'd see that again in my life time.
Oh, how I wish Southend wasn't as far as it could be in the opposite direction to me without falling in the sea

Here's a view of the building from the outside.
I'm on the top floor, if you look carefully you can just see the entrance
next to Paddy Power.

busy to post very much anywhere!
Just had a delivery of 6 jamma cabs from the Heart of Gaming in London. These
were originally in the Casino on Tottenham Court Road.
They were too big to get up the main stairway so we had to take them up the
fire escape stairs and push them through the 2nd floor window! The whole process
took 10 hours, the delivery arrived at 3.30pm and we finished at 1.30am the next
morning!!!

We've been having more problems getting machines upstairs to the 2nd floor.
Just had a delivery of 4 full size pool tables and an air hockey table. We
managed to get the air hockey table and the 4 pool table bases upstairs with
great difficulty. However, as for the 4 full size slate beds, no way would
they go up the front stairs because of the bottle neck and were far to heavy and
wide to go up the fire exit stairs. Basically you need minimum 6 people to carry
one slate bed but the stairs are not wide enough to accommodate that many
people.
So what do you do in that situation? They've got to go up somehow, but
how?

Members from the UKvac forum can visit the Lucky 777s arcade from 10am on
Saturday 13th onwards when we will be opening the doors for the first time!
We've decided to open on a small scale and strictly by
appointment. This is to allow us to iron out any
operating problems and to get things running smoothly before opening to the
general public.
However, it will be on the understanding that some machines may not be
working and we will be closing between 4pm and 6pm depending on popularity. Also
there will be a certain amount of work and disruption taking place in the
arcade.
If you would like visit Lucky 777s, please call Jonathan on 07580 706 179
(primary) or me, Paul on 07979 547 193 when you're outside the arcade and
someone will let you in!
