After the harrowing experience of restoring a Nintendo cab from the ground up with every nut and bolt, I feel like I'm ready for the next level of trauma!
I’ve seen some amazing work in the US where they’ve taken legendary Nintendo games like Castlevania and Zelda and built custom cabinets for these games using the same approach and art direction that Nintendo would have if they had come from the factory in the 80’s.
This has fascinated me and although I would never want to sacrifice an original, I would love to build one or two of them from scratch.
I have the ability to cut and build the cabinets but the biggest hurdle would be the custom artwork. I have a graphic designer who could put the files together but who in the Uk will print high level Perspex and vinyl artwork now that Olly only does stock stuff?
I’d probably go down the route of a stock NES with a multicart.
