Oh that's very cool. Never seen one of those before....looks like it's exactly the haflway point between wooden cabaret cabs and candy cabs!

For some reason it makes me think of "Huey and Dewey" in the "Silent Runnings" film ... always brings a tear to the eye when "Louie" flys off into space!!!

Hi Tony,

Dig Dug was the rarest of Atari cabarets and only 505 were produced - nice ! Who did you buy it from BTW?

Hi All - keep those cabaret/small cab pictures coming...

Cheers

Mark

It came from guddler and is the first cab I've owned since 2011

Here how it looked when it arrived

*bump*

This thread needs some tidying. Those last two are ordinary uprights (sorry!)

Isn't the track and field "just" a UK Taitel upright, also not a cabaret? I carefully say "just" because it's very nice and quite rare I believe.

There's a bit of a grey line between definite cabarets like the Midway "Mini-Myte", Taito "Trimline" etc., and just smaller UK variants that often came out. Earlier on, late 70's early 80's there was a definite formula for "Upright, Mini, Cocktail" release of a game but then as things took of you started to see smaller variants for certain markets (the UK being the notable market)

Hey dudes. Robotron, Streets Defender, Tempest... DK, PAC-MAN and Centipede arriving at various points later this year. None for sale, until undetermined life events dictate otherwise (and even at that point, I'm being buried inside the Robotron) x
