[ukvac] o/t mame out to b/w monitor
Guys
Im the proud owner of a nice invaders machine . Problem is the main
board is goosed and its not looking good for a repair . I would like
to run mame in pure dos up to the orignal b/w monitor . Ive being
reading up on this and advance mame seems to be the way to go . Just
wondering if anyone could shed some light on connecting the
monitor . If it was a colour monitor then t would be straight
sailing , rgb and syc pinouts from vga output to monitor . But what
connections would i take out of the vga connection on the pc for a
b/w monitor . Oh and also i intend running the invaders on this but
perhaps i may a problem as it is mirrored and maybe im going to see
it reflected if you know what i mean . I know there are guys who are
not to keen on mame but ive really no option as the invaders seem to
be hard to come by and ive tried already to have it repaired .
any help would be great . Anyhow ive set time aside today to try and
get this beast running so im of out now to the cold damp garage of
mine with about ten mins of gas left in the superser ( time to get
the duffle coat ). Shall give a update if i dont blow myself up .
cheers
Paul
