Hi guys,

Ive made a commitment to myself to try and break the world record on Berzerk for the 2600.

I tryed a few years ago but failed after 8.5 hours when my console decided to reset.

I say a few years, TG accepted video submittions then!!

I want to try again and record it and if at all possible would love to stream it online.

My question is, given my availible equipment and the use of FREE websites or programs, how would you go about recording and/or streaming a record attempt?

Equipment:

Standard (unmodded) console (woody and Jr)

Small flat screen TV (I dont have an old TV but a I am looking for a small one)

Old VCR with coax in and Scart out

PC running Vista

Netbook running Vista and UBUNTU

EasyCap usb input

Coffee Machine

LOADS of different audio and video leads and splitters and adaptors.....

Crappy webcam

Good digital SLR camera capable of taking video with small tripod.

Okay then lads...... Whats the best way round this?

I've been rearranging the spare room to get ready for some Berzerk practicing.
Bumping this as I recon it's just the IT of recording it direct to PC that's going to let me down.... I can roll that million at least once

speak to Jon Stoodley (Pacman83), he uses twitch.tv and that seems to work pretty well for him. I've seen him do multiple several hour runs on Pacman using his setup.

Thanks bud, Im digging out my old VCR to see if I can split the signal and hook it up to my PC that way. I'll have a look at twitch TV and PM Pacman83 in a bit.
Thanks for the advice.
