OT: Barcrest MPU4 Quiz or Fruit Machine Triacs
I have posted this in case anyone else needs this information, so
they can do a search:
Barcrest MPU4 Quiz/Fruit Machine - eg. Time Machine or Turnover
Payout coils lock on as soon as power is turned on, causing screen to
dim - and lots of other problems.
Chances are that some of these need replacing: TRIAC Y1098 (007) on
the MPU board. These components are very difficult to track down. I
found the modern replacement part from Barcrest:
BT137 500 PH-M95 39 PHILLIPINES
Also if you have any Barcrest MPU4 quiz machine it is worth checking
and replacing the battery before it leaks and corrodes the MPU board.
