Hi

Can any one help with the design of a circuit to do this?

Input 1 Input 2 L.E.D
0 0 off
0 1 on
1 1 on for 3 seconds then off

What happens when Input 1 is active and Input 2 is inactive?

What are the input/Output levels and currents ? Eg..Do you need closed contacts on the outputs or sink or source drivers ?

Are the inputs relatively slow changing or are they microsecond blips ?

I'd proly go with an 8 Pin Pic chip and some software.

Oi If you think we are gonna do your fucking home work from school you
can fuck right off.

You wont learn by asking others, plus could be classed as a form of
cheating.

Oh well the world could do with another wanna be cleaner on £4 an hr.

You TIT!!!

Rob,

If -

Input1 Input2 LED
1 0 on

Then you will need an OR gate, for the 1 1 you will need an AND triggering a
555 timer in monostable mode. For more info on that I just Googled this
http://www.doctronics.co.uk/555.htm#monostable . You will need the trigger
network shown further down the page.

What is it for out of interest ?. Is it a control cludge to JAMMAtise a
game with a special controller ?. I once sketched out a joystick hack for
Defender that used a monostable circuit like that for the reverse direction
button, never got around to trying it though.

Cliff.

or cheat, and use an MCU - program it to do what you like then

probably cheaper than an NE555 and some AND gates as well
