[ukvac] OT: Heads up all you Geeks out there - it's SysAdmin day!
Sorry to be so off topic. (Well, not really - no-one seems to give a toss these
days. QC went out the window long ago. In fact OT should be rephased ON-Topic, as
to be more useful. But I digress...)

Our SysAdmins have kindly asked to appreciate them some more, and support them
through SysAdmin day.

Don't worry, it's too late to buy them a cake today and you can carry on treating
them like stroppy women with no business sense or 'helicopter vision' starting
first thing tomorrow.

Just remember, though, when they're running the company, all those difficult
business decisions that you've wasted countless hours making may come back to
haunt you.

Add to the Swag list (or the, don't get us it, we've already got it
list) - ALL the 128MB usb pens that came with the last batch of
several hundred laptops from Dell that Dell threw in as a thank you
for helping them offload their old bottom of the range CRAP onto us!!

Of course, mine was still in the box since i was sitting in a hotel
room with a crashed HDD and a waiting client when the courier was
hurredly rushed over from Reading to Swansea, hence i know that
everyone else SHOULD have got one of these USB pens, but there must be
a big stash of the buggers somewhere!

I'm still trying to work out how SA can stand for theiving bastards to
this day!!

Oh, not to mention the nice embossed CD / DVD case that was meant to
turn up with the £1800 MSDN subscription a few years back.

And they want an SA appreciation day!!

Appreciate this - </me smacks fist against nearest object>

)

Gudd.
