You know how normally these free giveaway sites look a bit of a con and it's
always 'someone who lives next door to someones brothers girlfriends best
mate (etc) who's actually got something from it...' Well... One of my
mates has actually got a free ipod from this site:

I've seen it! ) Anyways, my missus is desperate for a pink ipod after
playing around with mine and I only need 9 people to click on that link and
sign up for me to get one. C'mon guys ) A whole 9 people isn't a lot to
ask?!!!

I would have thought so, there's free cash for them in that! ) I've been
signed up for someone else for a good two months and I don't get any more
spam than I used to though. Wish I'd have thought enough to have signed up
using ipod@pobtastic... rather than just using my proper email address.
Then I could have seen how much spam originated from them!

They actually make their money (by the looks of it) by having everyone who
signs up (and is greedy enough to want an ipod/ PSP/ whatever) join a
gambling site with a minimum of £10 (there's other things you can join up
to, not just gambling - but the majority *are* gambling) anyways, you then
have to gamble all that tenner away and the freebie site gets a kickback.
The problem I've got is that I'm already signed up to four of those gambling
sites already!!! ) I recommend Betfair should you want to get referrals
for your own freebies and you fancy dabbling on a gambling site. The way it
works is far superior to the usual betting sites.

Note as well ) That you don't have to sign up to the gambling site for me
to get my nice shiny Pink iPod, just your referral signing up is good enough
(I only signed up that way for my mates one). Thought I'd add that in case
that put anyone off signing up!!! )

I've a whole two referrals now ) C'mon guys! Mind you, I think a few too
many people tried to look all at once because after I posted the link the
site went down!!! (It's back up now though)

I don't believe you get an ipod from 9 people signing up and doing nothing
else? whats to stop you (and yes what is stopping you) picking out some
names and addressese from the phone book?

Read the FAQ!!! )

They verify all 'claims' so you'll need a valid email address and probably
need to be on the electoral roll or something to check the name against the
address. I dunno! But like I said, I've seen one they've sent out so
they're real enough!!!

I think you missed the part where it says that the referals ALL have to sign
up to at least one offer each. The cheapest one I can see is the £5 betting
one.

The cheapest one is the free months trial to the DVD renting site which you
can cancel after that month. But... Yes you're quite right ) I did miss
that part! When I was talking with my mate about his free one I just
assumed my signing up helped him (I didn't do any offers) but he must have
got 9 of his referrals to sign up as well. Ah well, if you want a free iPod
or PSP then you can use my referral as one of your own offers. Then I'll
get mine too! ) If not, then meh - at least thank you for reading!
