[ukvac] ot: Pachinko machines
Hi,
I'm thinking if getting one of the modern pachinko machines as a birthday
present; the kind of machine with a small video inset. Does anyone know of
a UK supplier/importer?
Cheers,
Stu

When I hunted for a UK supplier a while back, the price was exorbitant.
I finally got one from Pachinko Palace in Fort Lauderdale and brought it
back from the USA as luggage.

When I went to the Icelandair check in desk they asked what it was, when
I said it was a Pachinko machine they all smiled, and when I said I had
checked it out by putting my balls in it and turning the handle they
fell about laughing. It turns out that Pachinko is Icelandic for
masturbation.

Incidentally, the games look great but really you would be more amused
watching paint dry. There's no entertainment value in them at all.

Nice ornament though.

(Pachinko isn't really Icelandic for masturbation, it was a joke.) ;)

I see Clive has already tried to help you but if you're going to ATEI, check
out ICE too. There have been exhibitors for the last few years showing
pachinko machines. (Bit of blagging and you might even be able to snag an
ex-demo machine as a sample before you commit to buying 20 or 30 :))
